With a cast of 130 this is the biggest Christmas show of its kind in Europe! \nJames was a featured Vocal Soloist within the show\, leading the number ‘Thank You Very Much’ and was part of many other great moments such as Male Vocal Group\, and the St Nicholas Choir.

Drawn in by the magic of the story\, he becomes lost in his own adventure. On his journey\, he meets the Queen of the Night and her rival\, the mighty Sarasto\, high priest of the sun.The Queen and her Three Ladies charge him with a quest: to rescue the Queen’s beautiful daughter Pamina\, who has been kidnapped by Monostatos\, a mean and greedy servant working for Sarastro. Guided by Three Boys and accompanied by the bird-catcher Papageno\, Tamino sets out on a journey in search of love\, truth and honour. \nThis performance is part of the Simonsbath Festival and will be sung in English.\nJames will be playing one of his favourite roles\, that of the bird-catcher Papageno.

This ingeniously witty and magical operetta is a tale of forbidden love between fairies and mortals – peers of the House of Lords\, no less! \nStrephon is the half-fairy\, half-mortal son of the fairy Iolanthe and has fallen in love with Phyllis\, a ward of the court. But for them to marry\, Phyllis needs the Lord Chancellor’s permission\, which is going to be tricky as he hopes to marry her himself – as do half the house of Lords!
